My name is Jessica (she/her) and I’m a junior at Drake University studying Magazine Media and Politics with a minor in Economics.

At 12 years old, I became fascinated with preserving history through storytelling after scanning the pages of my brother’s high school yearbook for an hour straight. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to tell stories through my own high school yearbook, where I was editor-in-chief for two years, and more recently as a writer and editor for both campus and national magazines.

In my free time, you can find me listening to political podcasts, watching trashy reality television or attempting to make my cats love me. Oftentimes all three at once.
